denise : 請問戴醫師,
1.我買了個胸背帶,是從頭部戴之後再從胸部扣上(頭套部份已很接近前腳,不像傳統項圈一看就在喉嚨上)但散步時我只要用力拉狗狗還是會咳一下,我問台北同一家醫院兩位不同獸醫確得到不同答覆,一說很安全,一說還是會造成氣管下陷,建議用整個是綁在胸部之胸背帶.請問狗狗的氣管到底長到哪裡?我用的真的會傷害到牠嗎?
2.今天我感到很無奈,幾天前我還帶kelly下大墩覆查中耳炎及照x光,均無大礙,當天我順便在櫃檯買了罐蚤不到噴劑,隔天星期三早上幫牠噴了後晚上帶去狗餐廳玩,一切皆無異常,但週四早上確發現牠流了滿臉口水,整天只要一睡起來皆如此,晚上就帶去醫院,醫師幫牠抽血,報告出來異常有eosino:3n/ul(0.5-1.5說才是正常),alkp227.因此醫師認定為蚤不到過敏中毒,還說該肝已梢被影響,因此打解毒劑及強肝劑,且回家已立刻洗澡洗掉蚤不到.但週五早上確更嚴重本來只濕頭確延伸至兩三倍之長度至身體,可見口水有增無減,晚上又去打針,現在是週六零晨,口水還在流.我有電話詢問黃醫師,當然這是有點蠢的作法,電話雖然黃醫師很熱心,但想也知道沒看到狗我能得到什麼答案,我無奈的是我不知道台北哪裡有我可以信任且可以在緊急時解決狗的疾病,我很想下大墩但這決不是長久之計,必竟遠水就不了進火,台北有狗醫生的行為課程是您推薦配合的,我也知道您不推薦醫院醫師,對於台中之外像我一樣不段詢找好醫師的人相信不在少數,您可給個好建議嗎?
ps.我去的獸醫院門庭若市,醫師也都個個有耐心,但一個多月來除了預防針外,也沒幫我狗狗治好任何問題過,光是胸背帶竟也可有不一之說法,更別談診療說明了大敦寵物醫療中心院長戴更基醫生 : 1.長的位置和人類一樣,您帶帶胸背帶就知道會不會傷了
2.eosinophil增多,和中毒無關,和寄生虫有關,但是不一定和流口水有關,以下是蚤不到的藥理學中摘錄的,並不會造成中毒的問題:Pharmacokinetics – The manufacturer states that fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair
follicles and continues to be released over a period a time resulting in long residual activity.
Topically applied, the drug apparently spreads over the body in approximately 24 hours via
translocation.
Contraindications/Precautions/Reproductive Safety – Do not use on kittens less than 12
weeks of age and on puppies less than 10 weeks old. While temporary irritation may occur at the
site of administration, animals who have demonstrated sensitivity reactions to fipronil or any of
the ingredients in the products, should probably not be retreated.
The manufacturer warns that the product may be harmful to debilitated, aged, pregnant, or
nursing animals.
This product is reported to be contraindicated in rabbits as deaths have occurred with the spray.
Adverse Effects/Warnings – Rarely, hypersensitivity has been reported. Temporary irritation
may occur at the site of administration.
Overdosage – No adverse effects have been reported in studies where 5X the maximum dose
was administered to dogs and cats. Dogs fed 640 mg/kg and cats fed 320 mg/kg of fipronil
showed no significant adverse effects.至於醫院的部份就真的抱歉了
